Stephen & Gill Owens
Having had a successful portfolio of Buy To Let properties for over thirteen years and refurbishing a number of distressed and dilapidated properties during that time, Stephen and Gill Owens have now set up St. Michael’s Property Development & Investments Ltd to support the expansion of their portfolio to include commercial to residential conversions and Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMOs).
An extremely versatile Senior Manager with experience, over the past 30 years of working within the Public, Private and Third Sectors. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of exceeding targets and business improvement. Experienced in project start-up and strategic leadership, as well as business development and supply chain management. A highly organised and methodical individual, an excellent communicator at all levels, with extensive presentational skills, negotiation skills and networking abilities. Passionate about all elements of equality and diversity with over 30 years of campaigning and working with disadvantaged and minority groups. This has now led to developing relationships with a number of local authority Housing Departments & Housing Associations to support offering good quality homes to tenants needing to be housed in their local communities.
An example of her business acumen and drive for business growth was as Welfare Reform Director for Manpower UK Ltd. Setting up a business division single handily in 1999 with one government contract and one colleague, by 2011 built the business to 8 contracts with Public, Private and Third sector organisations employing over 110 staff and a Business Operating Profit total of £15 million.
Gill is also an independent Business Consultant for Arbonne International, building not only a successful second income stream but also supporting others to become successful entrepreneurs.
This drive and determination are now being channelled into her own property business, a sector which she, as a company director is passionate about.
Following a very successful and exemplary career in the Armed Forces, Stephen channelled his highly driven attitude into developing a successful 23-year career as a Manager in the Retail sector. A proven track record of delivering to the highest standard, working to high targets, optimising business, client potential, customer service and maximising company profits and margins. An experienced manager who believes in leading from the front, and building a successful team through motivation, staff development and supporting each member of the team. A personable individual able to communicate at all levels. Able to manage multiple projects and matrix work streams. Stephen is currently working full time on property investment and developing relationships with many like-minded individuals to not only increase his portfolio but also support other investors by sourcing properties as well as launching, in early 2018 the Cardiff branch of Light Lettings (the first regional branch from the original company based in Swansea)
